I was able to get in the hands to a new brand for me. Yes to is not available (I think) in physical beauty stores in the Philippines. These products were given to me as a gift from my friend (thanks again, love!). Anyways on to the review:
First and foremost, a brief background of the brand. Yes to was created by two mates in Pasadena, USA. They wanted to create a super-natural beauty line, made with fruits and veggies. Their products are composed of 95% natural ingredients, are free of parabens and made with recyclable materials.
“Fast-forward…Yes To is now a global leader in natural beauty products, with award-winning formulas and unique collections, that can be found in over 27,000 stores (from the biggies to the mom and pops) across the world.”
So I’ve tried their 2-Step nose kit. It says in the package: “Yes to charcoal and tomato extract to remove oil, dirt and those other nasties on your nose so it doesn’t get out of joint. (Formulated without Parabens and Silicones).
“Charcoal is a natural detoxifier and impurity remover to deep clean skin. Not just for BBQs anymore! Tomatoes are natural source of antioxidants. Good for your insides, too (any excuse for pizza!)”
The product’s packaging is pretty straight to the point and easy to understand. I was so excited to try this because I know I have to “clean” my nose area!
- Apply warm water around the nose area. Use the cotton swab to apply the cleanser (in the small packet) around the nose area to open pores. Rinse, leaving nose area wet. – don’t forget to rinse with warm water also!
2. Remove the backing from the nose strip and apply, adjusting to get the perfect fit. Wait 10 minutes until dry, then gently pull the nose strip off and rinse off any residue. See ya photo filter, you’re no longer needed!- haha Yes to is really perky with their copy though!
I really cried removing the stip. It hurts really bad! As if stripping off your skin!
Anyways, here’s the oddly satisfying part, finally removed the strip and look how much gunk it has extracted!
Well, it didn’t really remove all my blackheads. I still have some left. This is something you should do regularly. Exfoliate, scrub and use a nose strip that removes blackheads. Best to scrub your nose with brown sugar, lemon, and honey for a few minutes, gently scrub it. Do it every day, for sure, the blackheads and whiteheads will lessen!
That’s it for the short review! Stay RAEdiant!
