Assuming you have already tasted the best ramen bowls offered at the only ramen house in Baguio you should line up for, there’s another reason why you should come back to Agara Ramen. The 14-seater ramen bar redefines Tsukemen a.k.a. The “dipping ramen,” and offers a new side dish, Japanese Weiner Sausage. Agara Ramen’s regulars (like me!) and newbies would surely love to “upgrade” their next visit!
The “dipping ramen,” Tsukemen gets a makeover!
The original version of Tsukemen is still available but take note, this new version of Tsukemen is only offered for a limited time only so this is why you should come back to Agara Ramen soon! Tokusei Tsukemen is an opulent version of the “dipping ramen.” This dish has richer Tonkotsu Gyokai (fish and pork bone broth) with extra noodles, 3 pieces of Chasu (braised pork belly), Shoyu Tamago (Japanese Soy Sauce Egg), and a slice of lemon to balance out the umami flavor. Tokusei Tsukemen is an Omori “Sutairu” Style of ramen dish which basically means “more.” You can now devour this mouthwatering and rich dish with your choice of original or spicy flavor!
More about Tokusei Tsukemen
I found a video created by a fellow Agara Ramen head, Chickle Dela Rosa. Here’s a promotional video she made with Jules Martin. Here’s the link: Agara Ramen Tsukemen
A “winner” side dish!
Who loves side dishes here? I most certainly do and this new Japanese Weiner “wienar” sausage is truly a winner pair to my favorite ramen styles in Agara Ramen. This is premium sausage served with Japanese “Kewpie” mayo and mustard. Yum! Again, this is also only available for a limited time only (or until supplies last!) so you should come back to Agara Ramen whenever you can!
The different Ramen styles
Before I keep going with the other radiant side dishes you should try at Agara Ramen, please read my first blog about them where I discussed each ramen bowl and the ramen bar’s history! Just click the link below! The Only Ramen in Baguio You Should Line Up For!
Other Side Dishes
One of my favorites, Ebi Tempura, is always a staple in a Japanese dining experience as well as the Karaage (fried chicken), Wagyu cubes and Pork Gyoza. These are appetizing side dishes that you should also partner with your noodle-y ramen bowls! Honestly, without these side dishes, you won’t be able to enjoy the overall tasty affair while dining at Agara Ramen!
Holiday Japanese Cocktails
Of course, we all need something to drink! Thankfully, Agara Ramen whipped up something new to our favorite Mugicha (cold Japanese Barley tea)! The new alcoholic drinks offered this holiday season are Mugicha Soju and Lemon (“sawa”) Sour. I’m pretty sure you already guessed what they added to the cold brew, right?
Wait, there’s more! Agara Ramen Merch!
If you’re a true blue Agara Ramen head, then you should have Agara Ramen shirt! It’s priced at Php499 but when you dine at Agara Ramen, you can buy it for only Php350! Get it now, limited shirts only!
Thank you Agara Ramen friends for letting us try the new dishes! For those who are reading this, thank you too! I do hope you get something radiant about this short blog and may this entice you as to why you should come back to Agara Ramen!
