Skincare during quarantine
The quarantine led me to pay more attention to my skincare routine. No late-night gimmicks or morning rush so I took some time to use Japanese skincare products that work for my skin. So, beauties, welcome to my ultimate Japanese skincare starter kit!

Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion
Don’t get intimidated by the term “lotion” as you might think it is too thick. It is actually watery and light on the skin like a toner. Hada Labo is known for its key ingredient; Hyaluronic Acid which moisturizes and hydrates your skin. We all need moisture on our skin even you’re oily, thankfully, this Hada Labo brand caters to all skin types! It is also best to use this after washing your face or before you put any other skincare products. This helps to prep your skin on the next steps of your skincare routine!

SANA Soy Milk Moisture Face Wash
Cleansing your face at the end of the day is so satisfying! Who’s with me? It is the first step of skin therapy even you’re not wearing makeup (‘coz quarantine happened). This facial wash from SANA is enriched with soy milk not only thoroughly removes excess dirt but also brightens your skin. It doesn’t have any beads in it like other facial washes. It is plain white like whipped cream and it lathers on your face easily!

SANA Soy Milk Cream
When I am too lazy to wear any facial sheet masks, I go for a face cream! I think this is going to be my holy grail facial moisturizer because it is sooo good! It is my first time to encounter beauty products infused with soybean extract! Why is it good? The soy contains protein and antioxidant compounds called “isoflavones” that lock in the moisture on your skin and reduce the appearance of skin aging. The product is very thick and when I first dunk my finger on the cream, I feel its elasticity, it’s like a white thick jello!

The Collagen
Let’s not only feed the topical products on our skin, but we should also induce healthy eating habits to achieve that good skin! First, drink a lot of water and if you need an alarm for that, please download the app! Hydrating with water is the basic skincare you would ever need but if you want to take it up a notch, dissolve a teaspoon of The Collagen powder into your glass of water (or any drink, even food like soup!). This is best taken at night time. This honestly helped my breakouts heal faster and I noticed healthier hair and stronger nails!
Check out my video on IGTV here wherein I had my collagen drink for nighttime skincare routine:
Where to buy them?
This blog isn’t sponsored but I am helping a friend’s business based in Benguet. I all bought these at JPN All Out. If you’re based in Baguio or La Trinidad, please do support this local business! If not, I believe some of these products are available at other international online shops. 😊
Arigato!
Thank you, beauties for joining me on this blog about my ultimate Japanese skincare starter kit! I hope it is helpful for you as this is what I think the simplest steps you could do for your skin aside from drinking water and healthy eating habits!
These stuff are best for mama especially it is anti-aging.
True that. She takes Vit. E now
