Hey loves! Here I go again, posting late about my monthly favorites. But I couldn’t skip this. I need to share with you these favorites that you may love too!
1. Etude House Face Blur
First off, this beauty wonder! Maybe I haven’t tried other products like these but this one, I’m really obsessed with! I included this on my morning skincare products blog. If you haven’t read that yet, check it out here: Morning Skincare Essentials. If you want to order these, you may check this online shop: LaChique Atelierph
2. AVON True Color Super Extend Lengthening Mascara (Waterproof) 7g
There are some mascaras out on the market with so much hype, but sometimes it just doesn’t really work for me. Some drugstore brand of mascara makes my eyes itchy. This mascara from AVON is really nice. It doesn’t weigh down my lashes, and it sticks on my lashes the whole day. I have been using this the past months actually and I needed to get a new tube. This time, I’m trying a new mascara from AVON but from a different line. Stay tuned for that! Meanwhile, Check out this Youtube video I made wherein I used the Mascara, here you can get a closer look: Arci Munoz Make-up Look!
3. AOA Studio Wonder Baked Highlighter (Cream Puff) 4g
I ordered this baked highlighter from an online seller in Baguio, Ulzzang Ph. The price is just Php150 if I’m not mistaken-cheap right? Before I ordered, I watched reviews about this highlighter and there were good reviews. The only flaw that they said was the packaging, it’s plastic and vulnerable. I’m careful in handling makeup so I didn’t mind. Well, it’s not really that tacky for the packaging. What matters the most is the pigmentation of the highlighter. I love the pigmentation of this highlighter. There are specs of silver with a light champagne-y shade to it. It matches perfectly with the bronzer I’m using.
Who among here is obsessed with highlighters? Comment down below what’s your favorite!
4. Maybelline The Creamy Mattes in Pretty Please
Lastly, I have been wearing for the past month and even April, this lipstick from Maybelline. I like its bloody red with mauve-y and plum shade. This is a trick also to make your teeth look even whiter! A deep shade of red lipstick looks classy and it’s as if it dresses up your whole outfit or brightens up a dull face.
In shot App
I learned about this phone application from another blogger, Laureen Uy in one of her Youtube Videos. This is one of the apps that she uses in editing her Instagram stories. After watching that vid, I immediately downloaded the app! I like the music that you can choose from and video effects. What blows my mind is that I use this app for some of my Youtube videos and you can also select the resolution of the video before rendering. A fellow blogger, and my partner in life, Joel of Quint-“essence”-tial also uses this app for his vlogs. You should watch this: Sunday Vlog.
Fondant Fundamental Advance and Royal Icing on Fondant Workshop with Chef Emily
I’ve written a full review on this. This is a challenging and beautiful experience that I’ve done for the past month. Learning something new especially close to my passion is something I would always treasure. What I learned here was applied right away in the orders of my baking business with my friend, Whemmy. How to Get People to Buy What You’re Selling
I read this book from the end of April to May until I returned it to the owner, my boss in Manila. This book is an eye-opener, in fact, this should be the guide of book that Advertising and Marketing students should read! I love how this book dissected and discussed the advertising campaigns that other brands did that made them fail and became successful again. I wish to use the tricks I learned here in the future! 🙂
Alright, that’s it for now. I’ll update more blogs soon and watch out for my June Favorites (I’ll try not to be late)!
