I didn’t have many favorites the past month, the things I’m listing below is probably significant favorites of the month. Let’s begin.
- Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger Series
Marvel has done it again! Thank you Freeform TV for the franchise of this show (after sadly cutting off Shadowhunters-lol!)! This was again introduced by my ever Marvel addict boyfriend, Joel. The storyline develops slowly which I find it exciting. It’s a story of Tandy and Tyrone, characters who are brought together by fate (I guess). I’m really jotting this down with my own interpretation. They both have powers which they just eventually discovered on their own. I can relate to the characters’ struggles. The struggle of coping up with loss of a loved one, fighting for what you want (and need), choosing the people you can trust, believing in yourself and so much more. Season one has ended, and I am so excited for the next season. I would highly recommend you watch this!
- Antman and The Wasp
After the heavy movie of The Avengers: Infinity War, this movie was such a relief. It has so much joy, the fight scenes, the characters are always on point, and all the little details that make this movie a success. Just so you know, the story of this movie is simultaneous to Infinity War. Whatever’s happening in the other movie, it is the same time as this one. So ya, spoiler alert in the after credits, Hope “The Wasp,” Dr. Hank Pym and Janet were snapped out of the universe by Thanos while Scott Lang “The Antman,” was stuck inside the quantum realm. So, good luck with that. I was already happy with the movie until the after credits. LOL! Anyways, this is still one of my favorites in the month of July. I mean, it’s a Marvel movie! –and I didn’t regret watching this in IMAX at SM Aura in Taguig City! (wink wink!)
- The Henry Hotel
Firstly, the room booked here was unexpected for me. It was given as a treat for me at work. Anyways, I am ever grateful for them. I got to enjoy the most hospitable, homey, clean, Victorian-inspired interiors facility all by myself overnight! I love the ambiance, the place is quiet. I like the staff, so accommodating, genuinely hospitable. They have complete toiletries, comfy bed and complimentary coffee and tea. Just wow. Breakfast? My my, so fulfilling! I enjoyed it when I invited my high school friend, Ana, to join me. I didn’t get to take pictures of the room much. Let me link it here because I vlogged about it! - Ritz Legarda’s Mongolian Barbecue Grill
I am a foodie, I admit it, so I wouldn’t miss mentioning a highly recommended restaurant. Loves, if you are in Baguio, you wouldn’t regret this underrated bistro in Ritz Legarda Hotel. It’s their in-house restaurant. The hotel is located along Legarda road. You can easily find the pristine-looking luxury boutique hotel. I’ve been to their Eat All You Can Mongolian BBQ Grill almost every weekend, and it is so worth it and yummy! Yes, this is a weekend staple at the hotel! They also have more sumptuous eats on the menu! The pizza, the burger, salads, sandwiches, steak, and more, you should try it!
- Jeffree Star’s Beauty Killer
I can’t live without a beauty favorite for the month! I have been loving the color palette of Jeffree Star’s Beauty Killer eyeshadows. This was again a gift for me. I love the shades, it actually challenges me to play with bolder shades. I’ve tried quite a few times this month with more vibrant shades from this palette. I’d be doing a more in-depth review and more photos of how I would work with all the shades! Stay tuned!
I can’t believe that we’ve past mid-year already! Next thing we know, it’s already Christmas!
