Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream Review

When I make a review about a product, I make sure that it’s not just a first impression review but also my overall observation when I used it already for a span of time. After trying Etude House’ Precious Mineral Perfect BB cream, I knew then that this speaks for its label itself, “perfect”.

Let’s be honest, this product is not perfect but I consider that it is because this has more pros than cons. Living in a hot tropical country, it is highly advisable to wear sun protection, this BB cream has SPF 30 which is gives adequate protection from the sun when you go in and out of your workplace. Its content has 60g and kept in a pump container which is very easy to use. I bought this last December 2015, and I still have like a half of it this April 2016, I swear I use it almost everyday.

I bought the BB cream when it’s on sale, they had a Buy 1 Take 1 promo, regular price is Php848. I like to spend my money when items are on sale, actually honestly it is expensive. However, I love Korean products, its formulation is best for Pinay skin as well. I noticed that western products makes my skin look darker, this one, as stated on the label, it’s anti-darkening which is a plus for me.

I only pump a pea size amount, that is enough for my face and neck. It has a thick texture, it’s not runny like a serum. I just use my fingers to spread it on my face and it glides easily. It’s not too sticky, it’s just right, I don’t even where a moisturizer under it. Because of its dewiness, it takes time to let it dry before I dust a setting powder. I sometimes fan myself or seat in front of the electric fan, then I apply loose powder, I’m using Avon’s Skin Goodness minerals loose powder foundation in the shade M107 beige ochre.

I like how my face looks dewy like it has a natural glow, it does not look oily for me, I don’t also re-touch from time to time. It’s a light to medium coverage but it holds up until the evening. I usually apply the cream at 9am before going to work. I commute and walk going to work and the BB cream doesn’t budge. I also don’t break out for the past months that I’ve been using this, except on “those days”. 🙂

After 5 hours at work, the BB cream stays on my skin.

Now the last question is, will I buy this product again? YES, because I get my money’s worth on this. I love Korean products and this is just one of those. 🙂

[…] Finally, the bottle is empty! This product has been my main everyday make-up base for the past months. It is not thick, perfect shade for me and makes my face dewy but not oily. I also reviewed this product already, check out my blog here: Etude House BB Cream Review […]
