‘Tis the season of giving!
Season’s greetings, everyone! I’ve rounded up my favorite local products that I think are best for the yuletide season. Here are the best locally-made holiday gift ideas that are perfect for this year! Let’s support local and continue the tradition of gift-giving!
Gift-Giving
I know I am suggesting gifts for you but let’s keep in mind the real meaning of why we do this gift-giving. Sometimes it comes off so superficial and being just a show-off. Since we’re experiencing adversity today, let’s lower our expectations from people and handle our finances properly (stick to your budget for gift-giving! As for me, I love giving gifts to my closest loved ones! Only, the closest and the people that matter to you the most!
For Your Man
These gift ideas are not only for your special someone but also for your dad, brother, son, uncle or “ninong”! Yes, if we have a budget to spare for this season, why not give something to your ninong, too? Treat them to a pampering session or give them a pouch of essentials!
Kwentong Barbero Barbershop & Amparo’s Apothecary Collaboration
Kwentong Barbero Barbershop Services
P.S. My boyfriend loves their pomade, so is the barbering service!
For the Ladies
Who among here feels naked when you go out and forgot to wear a pair of earrings? I do! Haha! It just feels odd, I always need a wristwatch and a pair of earrings to complete my outfit! I found the item at the Mandeko Kito (Let’s Sell) Artisans Market during the Ibagiw Festival which was set in the University of the Philippines Baguio oblation grounds. I also found there my favorite shop in Makati City but the owner, Satinka, is also a Cordilleran. She displayed some of her best sellers at the fair. They are active on their pages, if you have orders, just message them!
Everything is Pine Accessories
I love the color I picked! If I’m not mistaken, this is only Php80. 🙂
Satinka Naturals
Check out their page! They also conduct virtual workshops in soap-making, lotion, candles, and more!
Face Masks by Marge DC Gomez
Topskill Handicrafts
For Everyone
Well, the safest gift for anyone is no longer a wall clock or a picture frame! Haha, just kidding around! For real though, I think, you can never go wrong with food! Of course, you must know your recipient’s “taste” on foods! Here are my go-to foods and coffee even before and during the lockdown!
I’m adding here one of the best-selling products during the pandemic; face masks! I found a handpainted mask by Marge de Gomez at the Artisans Market, too! Also, I love the matching mask and alcohol pouches from a homegrown and family business brand, Topskill Handicrafts! They have a physical store in Porta Vaga Mall!
Stay Grounded Coffee
I kid you not, their coffee is sooo good! I love the aroma and the flavorful taste!
My Bitesize Kitchen: Baked Sushi and Tarts
Merry Mhuffin’s Brownies and Cookies
Ritz Legarda’s Mini Cheesy Ensaymadas
This is best eaten when it’s is heated in the oven toaster, sprinkle some white sugar for added contrast of taste!
For your bestie
My bestie gave me an idea when she gifted me personalized covers of notebooks! I asked her where she had it done, it’s at Art Factory Philippines. She edited the design of the covers and had it printed.
That would be all! I might be adding some more gift ideas on my Facebook and Instagram pages so follow me there! Also, I have been uploading my Vlogmas 2020 on my Youtube channel. I hope you support it too! Here’s my second Vlogmas:

it’s really been a challenge for me to to find Christmas presents for my family and friends every year. I am so glad that you made time to feature this on your blog. I am doing my Christmas shopping next week few days before Christmas. I hope to find some of the items you featured in the mall next week, if not maybe a similar product would help..:)
It’s the thought that counts naman, that’s what’s important. Take care!
You can never go wrong with wall clock too. I made it special by installing LED light. Voila! Personalized wall clock.
I think you can never go wrong food but I also love the idea of giving facemasks given that it’s very essential these days. Also I love the earrings. 80 pesos lang may gift na ako sa mga tropa ko.
